Hi,

I've been reading all over the forum and a lot of people is scared of the IT sectipn. I am taking the exam this Saturday and I am currently reviewing this area. Is Becker enough material? PLease advise.

Also, the Becker enough material for section 3 of should I look for addtional informations. Thanks and good luck for everybody!!!

In my opinion nothing can prepare you for the IT questions, as my husband is an IT admin (and has been for 10+ years) and he even had a hard time with the questions.

My advice is to study the IT terms, like Database Admin and compiler for example and KNOW the keywords with each term. Pretend the computer terms are like an anatnomy (spling?)class with latin terms. Know how the computer is put together and who would do it.

The questions as totally back-a$$-wards, but if you know your terms, usually 3 will look completely off, and the right answer will pop out. Also try and find what 3 answers have in common, usually with IT the odd man out is the answer. Hope that helps.

Becker's IT portion is not enough,in my opinion.

I did wiley's IT section in their book and I did fine in
BEC.

All materials, Wiley, Gleim, Becker..etc are not enough. I took the exam four
times and I passed BEC on my fourth try. IT questions are too random and
you need to use your common sense. I've created notes from different
materials in order to score 70% (comparable)

I only reviewed Becker for IT, and I honestly thought it was a piece of cake. It's the section for which I scored the highest. I'm no computer genius by any means though... Maybe my questions were that easy.
