Many states accept work experience gained in prior years. For example, if your boss had an active license between 2005-2007 and you worked under him, then it will be accepted.

What happens if that's not the case? Meaning I started working udner him when he's already inactive? Does that mean I have to get a new job under an active CPA in order to get my license?
