Hello,

I've been out of college now for almost 5 yrs and I've been exclusively in tax compliance and planning.  I want to make a lateral move to Internal Auditing.  Has anybody done this before?  Is it even possible?  Are there any companies people know of(in this economic environment) that'd be willing to take me on?  I got a taste for Internal Auditing on my latest tax project which was a mix of internal audit and tax.  I loved the audit aspect, and I want to make the move.  I've was in Big 4 for 3 yrs followed by 2 yrs in industry.  I have a BA/MS and I'm CPA licensed.  I'm trying to do this internally at my current company, but it hasn't materialized yet.

Thanks for any advice out there!
