I just got back my REG section. I did fairly well on the multiple choice section but got "weaker" on both the simulations and the written communication sections. I got a 73. I had a similiar problem on the audit section I took a few years ago where I got a 74, and again was sunk by the simulation and writing.

The only section I passed on the first try was BEC because it has no simulation.

How do I study for the simulation? Or do I just need to see what is considered a "proper answer"? Perhaps I just need to score even higher on the multiple choice to be able to pass the test overall?

Any ideas on what to do about simulation is helpful.

You probably need to practice more simulations. Wiley software has simulations, they also have simulations in the wiley books.

I recommend the Wiley Sims in the book. They are comprehensive and down right difficult, but they really help pull out the right information and to boost your confidence.

Sorry to hear about the scores being so close for you.  That's a bummer!

I'm worried myself about the sims, and sit in 4 weeks for FAR.
