Hey Guys. Is it worth pursuing CMA designation? Any thoughts.

It has been worth it for me, my job is a hybrid accounting/financial planning role in a manufacturing company.  I think it's worth it for anyone working in industry, especially if you have any planning or variance analysis responsibility.

There are only about 300 new CMAs each year in the U.S.

This is probably why I'm pestered by recruiters about cost accounting and manufacturing industry jobs a lot haha.

Kfan, I would put it as harder than BEC and AUD, but easier than FAR.  I'm just now starting on REG so I'm not sure on that part yet.  If you have already passed the CPA exams I wouldn't think you'd have any problem with it (especially since a lot of the subject-matter is covered in BEC).  With it down to 8 hours now it's probably even easier.
