Found out today that I failed REG with a 72.
I know I did not do as well I thought I would but then was hoping maybe there was a chance I would pass.
It is not like I did not put in the hours or goofed away instead of focusing, I really put in all I could for about 3 months, that arises the question of my approach.
I used Wiley book and Gleim CD and had an 2007 becker book to refer to in case I did not understand concepts from Wiley. I did not omit any chapters, made my own notes, flashcards, and redid questions couple of times, especially the ones I got wrong.
Yes, I do feel sorry for myself and I feel like a big stupid for not clearing it the first time. As I have never failed in anything in my life this hurts my esteem quite a lot, but I don't want to give it up without trying at least one more time, and I want to try the right way, the right approach.
Could anyone please help me?

If you can afford it get the Yaeger cram. If you have a decent grasp on the concepts already I think the cram would be good to help you know what you really need to focus on knowing. Wiley covers so much stuff that just trying to study it on my own I know that I would be lost. I use the homestudy to understand the concepts and figure out what is important to know and what isn't as important. But since you've already studied once and got a 72 I think the cram would be good enough for you. Just get you focused on the key areas to know for next time.

I agree with the post above. I am retaking Reg in Jan 2010 and used Becker thr first time around. I bought the Yaeger Cram and I can honestly say that I finally understand everything. The one thing I like about Yaeger is that they go over the questions and explain why you do things a certain in more detail that I did with Becker. I wish I would have invested in Yaeger the first time around but its all about trial and error and I have finally found what works for me and will stick to it.

I was just looking at the yaeger website and was wondering how different the cram is from the homestudy. Would i need to get the homestudy to nail the concepts down, or does cram cover them?

If you had a 72 on REG, then you're very close to passing. I would think that you just need the cram and not the full homestudy. They don't go over the concepts in as much detail on the cram as in the homestudy, but it should be sufficient for your purposes.
