Please don't post stuff like "I'm taking XYZ cram course..." let's save that for the CPA Review Courses section...instead share your deepest, darkest and most detailed plans for conquering AUD! |

Since I've passed FAR ("the beast") I'm sticking with my techniques that got me through FAR. Time is the most precious commodity for all of us - as we are balancing work, family demands, school, and study. Time, once lost, cannot be regained. Recently I had a building emergency late at night (had to evacuate)... I picked up my bookbag, drove down the street and checked into a hotel. I wasn't going to miss my designated hours of studying. Time is THE MOST precious commodity. Comparatively, money is worthless. Every hour spent reading or working MCs might be another half point or so on the exam.
I no longer care about regular life. Getting the CPA credential has become so important to my identity that I am obsessed with studying and passing. When I passed FAR it just made me even more obsessed with taking AUD before Thanksgiving. And now I have to return to the lecture CDs, regardless of the fact that everyone else I know is out enjoying a Friday night. What keeps me going is this: the feeling that night at 10:05pm when I saw my FAR passing score on NASBA.org!!! NOTHING can feel as good as that FAR score felt. C'mon AUD, I LOVE YOU AUDIT.
