I have received an offer from PWC this past fall but do not know my start date.  Has anyone who is starting with a Big 4 firm in the fall know your start date yet?

I think you should show up on October 11th.

Tell me how it goes.

Why are Big 4 firms hiring when they just laid people off last year?

They're always going to be hiring because new students graduate every year and some of these graduates are more promising and talented than
the employees they currently have. I think they're still trying to shed some of the less qualified people they hired back in 2007 and 2008 when
they hired just about any college graduate.
