How can you determine your overall score by just taking the Becker test, especially since the real test is graded much differently?

You can't.  However, there seems to be a general consensus that you will score about 5-10 points (possibly higher) on the actual exam compared to the Becker Exams.  I think the main reason for this is because of how the AICPA scores the exam compared to how it is graded by the Becker software.

For example my scores were the following:

REG - Becker 71,75  Actual 89

FAR - Becker 66,71  Actual 93

BEC - Becker 75,79  Actual 88

AUD - Becker 85,81  Actual TBD

I have scored around 65-80% on any of the Becker final exam MCQ testlets with my average being right around 75%. My scores are listed in my sig. I am currently studying AUD and having a harder time with it than any of the other sections. I have ZERO experience in AUD and only 1 very basic class. The other sections I had either multiple classes or experience which helped so much. We will see how my Becker final exam scores go once I get there. I will study my hardest but any passing grade on the exam is fine with me. Becker hasn't let me down yet, so as long as I keep doing what I am doing everything should work out.

Just to update one of my posts somewhere on this forum about Becker Exams vs Actual Exam scores:

Becker REG = 71, 75  Actual Exam = 89

Becker FAR = 65, 71  Actual Exam = 93

Becker BEC = 75, 79  Actual Exam = 88

Becker AUD = 85, 81  Actual Exam = 91

All on first try!  By the way if you are wondering how much I studied in hours, REG was 135, FAR was 160, BEC was 80 and AUD was 95.  I probably could have got away with less study time, but I wanted to study once, take the exams once, and never deal with it again!

Good luck everyone!
