I was scheduled to take FAR a couple of weeks back, and had an issue with my son (who has some severe behavioral issues) on the day of the exam. As a result he ended up refusing to go to school, and causing a lot of emotional grief for everyone in the house that day.
Because of this I ended up missing the exam time, and did not take it. I was fairly certain that I was not going to pass anyway, so it was not the end of the world for me. I assume that there would be no potential for a refund, and to be honest the money isn't the most critical point to me - I just want to get through these exams.
However, now I am unsure if I can simply reschedule or do I have to wait until the scores are posted. The NASBA re-registration page states the following:
Candidates are advised that automatic delay or rejection of registration is a result of the following;
- Non-receipt of all required fees (current and prior);
- Failure to complete all educational requirements;
- Registration of examination section(s) prior to receipt of scores;
- Registration of unattended examination section of a current NTS prior to expiration of the NTS.
Any advice?
