Anyone feel knowing pooling of interests is important for the exam?

pooling of interest is no more us gaap..some of the
companies who followed this method are still allowed to
present statements as per pooling method.
The only method which gaap permits is the purchase method
now!

It's the acquisition method now for exams post July 2009. Isn't it?
