i dont know your experience or education level in regards to FARE but i think if you begin today and devote all of your energy I mean all from now until aug 31 you have a decent shot. the amount of information is enormous but is not rocket science. the exam is repetitive in nature so as long as you get in effective quality hours everyday of MC's and understanding the concepts you should be fine but time is ticking so get on it.

I got my undergrad in accounting and have a Masters in
Accounting so I've been around the block a few times in
regards to financial reporting. I'm an average student.
Definitely not the worst but far from the best.
I won't start studying until Monday because I have BEC
tomorrow. Also, I work full time so that might cause
studying to be very hard. Realistically I could do 4
hours each night, and about 15 on the weekends.
August has to be the month though because I want two
shots at passing FAR so I don't have to take the new
format in 2011.

I had the same situation for FAR. Started May 8 and took the test on July 3rd. Work 40 hours a week, study about 4-5 hours on weekdays and more on weekends. Took like 7 weeks for FAR, but in the last weeks felt like I had too much time. Definitely you have enough time, you just need to isolate yourself from everyone and everything fun. I will let you know if my method worked when i get my FAR score :)
