Hi man,

I had exactly the same experience like you on MCQ.

The first one definitely easy, the second one all problems with calculations, no just what you know answers. The third one was in between harder than the first but easier than the second.

Simulations were very manageable.

Took one day break, and back to study for audit.
I wish they would give us score in couple days instead of 4-5 weeks.

What is your next section?

Hi Guys,

I'm using Yaeger, which I really like so far. I used Gleim last year, but put the whole exam on a shelf until now since I got busy looking for and buying a house last year. This is the first exam I've taken, but do feel like Yaeger prepared me pretty well. If I'd actually done everything (which is quite a bit) that Phil and Cindy tell you to do, I'd have been ridiculously prepared. I basically concentrated on the MCQ's and figured that I'd be okay on the written part since I write a lot at work. I did most of the Sim's that were assigned, but really could have put a lot more effort in to be honest. I went back through all the MCQ's a second time, but probably only got about 80% through that before this beast came up on me.

I think I got a little bit of everything on the exam, but it was kind of hit and miss on some of the more advanced accounting subjects. I'm actually going on to BEC next. I'd be smart to do Audit like 1try, but I BEC is the only other one I can possibly finish b/f September with only about 6 weeks left to study.

The beers were frosty and delicious, everyone! Tomorrow, I can hang out with the wife, play with my dog and watch the World Cup (I know, how cares but it's still over a month until real "football" season starts) knowing that I have one day of being a normal person until Monday, when the BEC studying starts.

I'm on the Yaeger train too.

warning: I suggest RogerCPA for Audit. Gary at Yaeger from NFP in FAR teaches all of AUD and that is why I did not buy their product.

RogerCPA is awesome for AUD and really broke it down very well.

So far for BEC, I haven't seen anything great from Yaeger.  It has all been strictly reading from the book on their lectures and I just finished module 3.  Michael screwed up the Economics module to the point I feel defeated to look at his crap any further. If module 4 is anything like the first 3 modules, then I'm gonna go find a different product to get me through BEC.

ok I'm done.

pj

For FAR, Cindy taught governmental, but that was the 2009 program in 11/09.  Who is it now? If it is Cindy, I would watch it because its backwards from normal accounting entries we are used to..

Do you mean Cindy does Cost accounting and capital budgeting in BEC?

I just finished Econ 10 minutes ago, and I'm getting pissed at the lack of instruction in that module.
