I had deceint FAR professors at best. The post was directed at FAR only (I should have said that)
My audit and tax teachers were awesome and it made Becker just a review.
I feel like Becker teacher FAR much more straight forward than any of the professors at my school. I always had a very tough time with those classes. I was an "A" student in tax and audit, but lucky if I could pull off a B- in my Intermediate 2 and 3 accounting courses, and each course only covered about 2 or 3 chapters of the material found in Becker so you would think it would be easier, but it wasn't
Plus my total study time was maybe a month (off and on), where my accounting degree has taken one hell of a lot longer.
My point is Becker teaches the basics great. I am going for my masters degree now and find myself applying what Becker has taught me to my Consolidation and Non Profit classes rather than what my teachers are teaching.
