Do any of you exercise right before you start studying (say like within 30 minutes after your exercise)?

If so does it help you concentrate/remember/learn when you start studying?

Or better yet, does it even help you get up to start studying in the first place?

Not really.

I woke up at 7. Went to work and sat all day. Came home, and sat and studied. I walked around a little, to go to the bathroom and stuff... but yah. 3 years of playing WOW prepared me well for the CPA (I weigh about 195lbs at 6'2" in case anyone just HAS to know - male, 26). GRIND IT OUT! "LIVE TO WIN, TILL YOU DIE!" (Stanley, Paul).

Different strokes for different folks though. I know some people just CANNOT study without going outside and doing some active. I also know those same people that then fall asleep at 10:30PM in front of their TV with their book on their stomach. Instead with MINIMUM activity I can stay up till midnight and get up at 7AM no problem =)

To me the folks that exercise are just looking for an excuse to NOT study. "But exercise is good for you and healthy!" So is masturbation, but it's not going to help you pass.

Yes, it clears your mind and helps you not look like an accountant.

I agree.. I come home from work and study for an hour, and around that time I start to get really tired/exhausted, and I just want to crawl in bed.  So, about 3 times during the week I go to my apartment gym, run for 15 hard minutes on the treadmill, and go right back to studying.  I have so much more energy and can focus better.  After working 8 hours a day and then studying, running makes me feel alive again.  Sitting in a cubicle all day sucks the life out me!  Oh, and the two days that I don't run I do a yoga/pilates dvd.  It's a good stretch.
