Hey,
I need to find out if the 16 hours of college credit I got for AP courses I took in high school are valid as college credit hours that can be applied to the 150hr requirement in Washington DC, or anywhere for that matter. Does anyone have any idea about this? I have gotten conflicting information, but in general no one seems to have a clue.

If those AP courses are on a college transcript without
duplication, they can be applied towards the 150 credit
hour requirement.
You have two options, either have your school post them
to your college transcript. The second option is to apply
to the local community college and have them post it to
your transcript. Most schools will charge a fee for it.
It may be cheaper than taking the extra credits. If you
do not have enough credit hours, you can take CLEP
courses and have them apply it to your transcript. This
is assuming that you have met accounting and other course
requirements for your state.
