Hi Everyone,
I'm taking the California ethics exam and I was curious as to what the
independence rules are regarding a close relative to a key position
holder of a client. For example, the daughter of Widget Corp's CEO
has been hired by an audit firm who also happens to audit Widget
Corp as a staff member. Is that an outright independence issue or
could that be mitigated by keeping her off the audit team?
