Illinois board of examiners has posted on their website that scores are being released during the week of March 21-25.  This is all the information they have and do not call them.

This means mine will be enroute soon!

It doesn't give a date. That was up before, I bet they
just renewed it, because people were calling them.

Guys,
I think all of us were eagerly awaiting to get our scores this week.
I am trying to look at the bright side of this and I feel the reason that it is  taking longer for AICPA to relase the scores is that they want to make sure that we are graded fairly on the simulations.

Regarding the simulations, somebody posted this about the simulations:

From AICPA
A critical component of
the CPA examination review process is
Preliminary Item Analysis.
During PIA, sub-committee
members review flagged simulations. These
include distributions of specific candidate
responses and the distribution of
answers across the total candidate
pool. We’re mostly concerned with
moderate and high performers, since
that’s where the determination is made
whether a candidate is qualified to
become a CPA. They also review
what are called “biserial correlations,”
which compare performance on simulations with how the
candidates did on the multiple-choice part of the exam. “It’s
expected that candidates who did well on the multiplechoice
questions will do well on simulations,” explained Mr.
Dutz. “During the review, the SMEs view the actual simulation
and the statistics of how candidates responded to the
individual measurement opportunities within the simulation.
Then they conclude that the answer contained in the exam
answer key is correct or whether another response could or
should be considered an appropriate and valid answer.”

It seems like there will be a curve on the simulations.

Exam Scores

NASBA has advised the Illinois Board of Examiners that scores for the first quarter of 2011 should be released soon.  Scores will be posted as we receive them.   Please do not call the Board office asking about exam scores.

For what it's worth, they did change the ILBOA site since this morning. Initially it had a posting dated 3-18-11 that stated NABA had told them results would be released to NASBA by the AICPA during the week of the 21st through the 25th.

Someone had actually copied and pasted the information from the ILBOA site onto the NASBA facebook page. Shortly afterwards the ILBOA updated their site to the message currently posted and the FB postings were removed from the NASBA page.
