What do you guys think of this study plan.  I will be using the 2011 becker materials, along with the final review materials.

I want to spend a week on each chapter**.  Depending on how i feel about the material I will use the final review material for 2-3 weeks.

For each section

I will watch the entire lecture on Tuseday.  On Wednesday I will review any flashcards I create and read the ancillary material.  On Thrusday I will do all the homework questions.  On Friday/Saturday I will review my notes.  I will also keep taking 60 question quizes untill I get an 85% or higher.  When ever i get a question wrong i'll write down what i did wrong in my notes.  On Sunday I will do the simulations and review my notes/flash cards from the week.

One week for each CPA section?! Or for each chapter of a
section? If it's just the chapter, then that is fine. If
for an entire section such as BEC or FAR, that doesn't
sound like a very realistic idea to me. It takes longer
than 1 week to digest the material and let it sink in.
Depending on the section, I would recommend 4-6 weeks on
each one. Do u work or are u devoting ur entire time for
the CPA?

I work.  I'm going to have no social life for the next 6 months.

Rana_Cali,

Do you think 4-6 weeks is enough time to study for the entire section for FAR if someone is putting in 2-3 hours each day for 4-6 wks?

@ burtoncpa

I used the same plan. Im finishing up F9 this week, ahead of my scheduled time.  I then will have another month to just focus and review all topics again, take practice exams, sims, etc etc.
