It seems most people take notes when they review the CPA. However, the review book already looks like a summary for me. I wonder if anyone could tell what I should mark down on my note. Is it basically a executive summary of the review book or simply a way to strengthen our memory?

Thank you sooooooo much. I appreciate it.

I usually just make word documents summarizing the most
important info. Except for REG, I wrote out the Business
Law, and I am doing AUD for the big parts. It's mostly to
strengthen memory for me. I would do it on the parts you
are having trouble with, and the big stuff. But everyone
studies differently. You have to find what works for you.

I write down formulas or T accounts and just random facts that are easily forgettable like Sales Lease Back rules or Non Monetary Exchanges. So now I have one of those single binder rings with about 400 note cards on them.

in REG and especially AUD its very helpful

I would run your own notes with page references to the study materials. as i miss / make HW probs I go back and write a book page # and the concept. If I needed to I could carve them into flash cards although I bought the Becker's ones as well.

Don't use the Becker notes, it is a pain to export them out as well as to format them.
