Hello,
In US, I worked for a fortune 500 company (Private
Banking, Investment Banking, Retirement Planning; 1998-
2010)for 12 years in various operational roles - finally
as a Business Analyst.
I completed my bachelors degree and post graduate
business administration (finance) from India in 1996. I
got my credentials evaluated from FACS for the State of
Delaware where I reside and plan to take the CPA exam. I
am currently enrolled for the Federal Tax course
(requirement for DE). I will be sending my CPA exam
application after completion of the Tax course in end of
June.
When should I order the Becker review materials so as to
the materials do not expire? Please advise.
Thank you

It depends on how long it takes the state to approve applications. I personally would not order them until you receive approval to sit for the exam. Once you order they get to you within a week. In Florida it took them 3 months to approve my application.

the first poster is right to warn about the time it takes to get your NTS.  I did my app in the Fall to ME and it less than 2 weeks, other people I know submitted their apps in NH in late May last year and it took 2.5 months.... painful.
The license for the material starts to expire once it is loaded on your computer (If I recall correctly, you have to register the program in order for it to run).  But until then, it can set on the shelf.   The only worry then is if you plan to straddle 2 years.  In that case you should order only what you can do in 2011.  I think if you order the full program you can tell them that you want (for example) AUD, BEC, REG in 2011 and FIN in 2012 and they will ship the 2012 material when it is available in December.
