My English writing is very poor as it is my second
language, and I want to pass BEC part of CPA exam without
writing any letter/memorandum. is it possible to pass
this part of the CPA exam without this business
communication part?

If MCQs is not sufficient to pass the exam, how do I
improve my writing? is there any program that helps me to
improve business communication? I want to practice some
Business communication part of the BEC exam, but there is
none who can correct my mistake and suggest me to improve
it.

Is there any Business communication (writing) question in
Willey software to practice? please suggest me about it.
I wont have any problem to pass all other part of the CPA
exam, but BEC is my headache now.

If I can find a better solution, It would be a big
relief.

Hi Mann,

Do you have any study material from Becker?  Becker has an excellent written communication tutorial in the 2011 BEC program.  In addition, the Becker material has writing tips and many writing samples.  I felt very prepared for the writing section after reviewing this material.

Try to memorize the most important definitions that exist at the end of Becker book, or check the dictionary in this website http://www.accountingcoach.com or any other website. Memorizing the difintions will help you have some vocabulary that you need and can you use in the writing section of the exam.

Considering the fact that this is the section that most people are assume to crush, and to scrape by with the MC, you'd have to really crush the MC to pass this exam if you bombed the essays, or left them blank.

Just remember that they're really only looking for grammar and whether or not you stayed on topic. I'd suggest always using the spellcheck before you submitt your essays, and try to practice some topics and prepare fake memos and essays, and check your work using Microsoft Word.  Turn grammar check off, prepare your essay, turn grammar check on, and the fewer green squiggly lines the better. Keep practicing cold until you get the point that you can prepare an essay without any green squiggly lines.  That's the only thing that they're really searching for (and if there are any red squigly lines, but you are given spell check for that).

Do you still think we can pass BEC part without writing
any Business communication ? And I did not understand the
things you are talking about green and red squiggly
lines. Can you please elaborate it? I want to practice
this business communication part but I did not find any
better way. I expect more suggestions please.
