Hi all,

I have cancelled my FAR exam schedule on November 2nd 2011 and wish to register REG to be taken in this last quarter of 2011 and take FAR in the first quarter of 2012. I wonder if there is any negative effect if I don't take the FAR exam which I have applied (no schedule now)?

Thanks

Ricky

From your signature I see that you attempted both Far and Reg already once, If I were you I would try both FAR and REG in the last window.

I think if you postpone it now you do not have pay anything, but if you do it in less than 30days period you may have to pay $35 rescheduling fees. I do not know about any major changes , but going forward, I think IFRS will be tested more...

Hope this was helpful

Good luck....

I agree with momcpa.

You still have two full months to study.  one month for each section, questions over and over this time, should work based on my experience.

er I can't take both because of something already scheduled in November, that's why I want to give up FAR.(which I took the first time in last year actually) and Reg was just taken in July.

I shouldn't have applied FAR before....but now they don't allow me to reapply FAR. Probably because it's not due yet. If I do not schedule it and  do not take it by the expiration date, will I be punished for something like prohibit from taking an exam in a later time.

Sorry I mean I should not applied FAR when I was applying Reg and BEC....now I need to retake REG and don't have time for FAR...(because of a scheduled trip).

Question: Will I be punished if I don't take FAR ? (I have already cancelled the schedule)
