Hi! In need of advice...I had a luncheon with two directors for PwC for the tax area on Oct. 11. I received an email about 2 days later from one of the directors to schedule another meeting with other people on Oct. 19. I was set up for a lunch meeting with a managing director and then an office interview with 5 other people for 1/2 hr each. I was informed by the recruiter that I should hear back in about 2 business days. I sent an email to the recruiter on the evening of the 2nd business day. I did not hear back so I called a few days later. I still have not heard back. Also I am experienced. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with another firm when I was doing my interviews. I actually work for PwC now. It's hard to understand when you are in that boat, but it usually is not intentional. It's just that we are looking at so many candidates and while we may be first on our priority list, you and the other candidates may not be ours. I wouldn't read too much into it. But I would comment on your difficulty getting in touch with people. Firms actually really value that kind of feedback and will appreciate it.

Thanks for the info. Does PwC usually call or email to let candidates
know if they are not selected? Or can you assume after so many
weeks you didn't get it?

You better hope that the first round of candidates that they extended offers to pick KPMG, Deloitte, or E&Y, or join the Peace Corps or something. Don't take it too personally either way.
