Hello All,
I am studying to take my Regulation exam on Nov.30th. I am
using Becker and I really need to pass this exam. If I
don't, I might as well say goodbye to my CPA, since
requirements will change starting 1/1/12 and I will need 30
more college credits for my CPA. What do you reccomend for
me to do? I am now going over chapter 6 and have not
reviewed yet. Recommendations Please :(

By the way I just would like some recommendations on what I
should do from now till then. For example...skim the last 2
chapters and focus on tax..etc..anything that can help me
prepare the best for this exam in the amount of time that i
have left

Hopeful23,
Here is what I would recommend, but I've to say this is no guarantee to pass. I would answer all the MCQ twice and make notes of what you got wrong and why and the ones you guessed right on and why.

If you go in after doing between 1000 to 1200 MCQ then you have a better shot at it. I'm giving this advice assuming you already studied the material or at least gone over it. Answer MCQ just by guessing will not help.

Good luck!!

Hopeful23, are you sure about the changes, is it beginning of 2012, or end
of 2013. I could not find any information about this. And, yes, do the MCQ
as many times as you can.

Thanks CPA, I went over it at least once...I am finishing chapters 6 and 7 then I will be done. I rushed through the material for Law but I still took notes and watch the lectures but not thoroughly. I will do as many MC as possible. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

tamcpa the requirements will change here in PA. In other states you guys might already have the required 150 credit hours. I currenly have a Bachelors in accounting and graduated with a total of 125 Credits so I will have to go back to school to get the additional 25 Credits. I'm pretty sure I have the  required accounting credits just not the extra college credits.
