Hi, I need some advice. My former employer signed the Certificate of Attest Experience, but put a "No" on the satisfactory on the planning section, which is stopping me from getting the attest license. I appealed to the board for the following reasons: 1) I had enough hours; 2) I discovered a fraud during one engagement (which directly leads to my resignation); 3) I also earned employee award in the firm. But during the first appeal, the firm is insisting that I am still falling short on the planning skills, and it looks like the board cannot do anything about it. Is there any good ideas for me so I can get my license with attest experience? Does it mean the firm can really mess up a candidate and the board cannot do anything? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
