Hello, I am actually a doctoral student in Rehabilitation
Psychology. I am starting my own service, and am trying
to decide the structure. I have looked at similar
organizations on the web, and most are not-for-profit. I
am not sure if this is the best structure however?
Starting as a not-for-profit would require obtaining
board members, and this would also then, in essence no
longer be my company? Am I correct on this? Also, can a
for-profit organization apply for Grants, just as a non-
profit can? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
