Corporate Governance is up to 25% of the exam, but the wiley
module has only 24 MCQs. I just found out I got a 71 on BEC and
was weaker in corporate governance. How can I improve on this
section with so little practice questions? Should I buy another book?
Gleim maybe?

I'm probably not the best to help you but just my 2 cents on this... I also failed BEC and used only Wiley's books and test bank. But I was stronger in Corporate Governance. Did you use the Wiley's test bank too? Maybe that could help you get the extra 4 points you need to pass.

Mike5283: I find from CSO/SSO [http://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/ExaminationContent/ContentAndSkills/DownloadableDocuments/CSOs-SSOs-Effective.7-1-11.pdf], corporate governance is between 16 and 20% weightage and we should have a good grasp of all the 3 sub-areas; I. Corporate Governance (16% - 20%) A. Rights, Duties, Responsibilities, and Authority of the Board of Directors, Officers, and Other Employees 1. Financial reporting 2. Internal control (including COSO or similar framework) 3. Enterprise risk management (including COSO or similar framework) Hope this helps. -= Passed all 4 papers 2011

Mile5283: Sorry the following was omitted: B. Control Environment 1. Tone at the top – establishing control environment 2. Monitoring control effectiveness 3. Change control process Does this sound more like AUD? I studied with yaeger homestudy for BEC and AUD, Wileybook and testbank; for AUD I used additionally Gleim book and s/w. -=-=-
