Hi,

It's been 3 years since I passed all parts of the
California exam and I'm still looking for a job to be
under a CPA so I can have my license and still no luck.
I'm working as a general accountant/bookeeper in a very
small company and I'm desperately looking for anything
just to get my license. My question is, I'm considering
volunteer work under cpa, would that qualify the
experience requirement or do you have to get paid? I read
the handbook and they didn't mention it there, so does
anybody know if volunteer work also can satisfy the
experience requirement?

Good question. I'm curious about the answer. I didn't see it in their handbook either.
