I just took BEC today, first testlet is relatively easy.
then i got a pretty difficult second testlet.
at the end, I ran out of time and screwed 1 written
question. Not sure if that 5 point is gonna fail me or
not. Anyone has experience of running out of time on
written portion and still happen to pass ?

I had a similar experience. I used Becker 2011 material and I must say Becker review course for BEC is not sufficient for the exam. Anyway, I was only able to attempt two written questions. When I realized that I had only 3 minutes left for the 3rd written question, I devoted that time to review the two questions that I had already attempted. Well, I eventually passed with a 79. The bottom line is, you will be okay.

Thanks for your comment. I studied both Becker and wiley
MC and flash cards. Becker may not cover all materials
they test. Nevertheless, I saw some IT questions that I
never saw that term in both books at all, i just picked a
guess and found out I have chosen a correct answer after I
google it later.
How was your first testlet compare to the other 2 ? I felt
they gave me a pretty tough second testlet after I
finished a easy first testlet.

Again I have a similar experience in that my second testlet was very tough and it involved many calculations. I was happy because that was a sign that I did very well in the first testlet. My third testlet wasn't that very hard. So, the fact that your second testlet was very hard showed you did pretty well in your first testlet. I believe you will pass because we have a very similar experience.

because I just got my score and I passed :) I hope we will
both pass rest of the exams soon
