Hello All CPA's & CPA Aspirants,

I have scheduled my exam in JULY..Currently I have finished all the Becker Lectures.I am now going back to F1 and revising the textbook and redoing all the MCQ and Sims...

Which by the way is very boring :-(

I have few queries regarding the preperation..

1) I am thinking to buy BEcker flashcards & Becker Final review...Is that really helpful

2) study technique that I should be following...More focus on reading text or solving MCQs..

3) I have not taken any progress test...Is it ok

Any advice would be appreciated from CPA's And aspirants.

Good Luck to all of you

Study Material: Becker self study

1) I don't know if the Becker flashcards and final review are helpful.
However, I passed FAR without purchasing the flashcards and final
review. I'm not saying everyone's the same case. Just to let you know you
can still only have the original Becker self-study materials to pass the
section.

2) I'm going with doing MCQ at least twice, and more times on the
ones you get wrong and the ones that take you longer to solve. That
means you need more practice on the areas to be familiar with them.
During the exam, you may get nervous and all these pre-test jitters that
may slow you down, so you have to make sure you know the things well.
Reading text a couple times will really enhance your understanding of the
FAR elements. After the 2nd reading, it won't be as bad.

3) For my experience, I did all the progress tests... because I started
from scratch and I had to make sure I can grasp the concepts. The
progress test contains the homework problems that you went through
before(if you did the problems).
