Hello!
I have a 3-year BS in accounting and finance (covering financial planning, intermediate accounting, corporate finance, etc) - 126 credits in total and masters degree - 30 credits (however my second degree is not in accounting or business related field) but I think I may lack some credits in upper accounting division classes to sit for the CPA exam. I'm considering Indiana or Florida in terms of taking my CPA exam in the future.
I wanted to ask if any of you got credit by WES or ECE evaluating agencies for ACCA exams (including BS in Applied Science from Oxford Brookes University). If so, in what states did you submit your degree for the evaluation? I heard that some international CPA candidates used this way to satisfy missing credits in undergrad and grad accounting classes. What are your experiences in this respect?
How did you manage to meet the 150 hrs requirement? Could you please suggest anything?
And last but not least, as for international candidates, did the state boards of accountancy give any guidelines on what other subjects you need to cover to sit for the exam? (i.e. US federal taxation, US GAAPs , etc)
Any advice?
Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be interested to hear how you got on with the exemptions. I've worked with a few accounting and finance degree holders who have managed to gain exemptions in the past.
Hope it works out for you.
