I will graduate with 150 hours in May 2013 from TN. I will be living in AL for
6 months, and plan to then move to CO permanently. I have tried to make
sure I've met all education requirements, and plan to sit for the CPA during
Summer 2013, but will my "work experience" transfer from AL to CO? I know
scores will transfer, but only being there a short time, I'm unsure.
I have tried to come up with answers for what to do, but I'm so overwhelmed
and can't find answers for what to do, period.

Hi TNcpa46...your AL work experience will be accepted by Colorado as long
as it is the "type" of work experience that Colorado requires. If you know
for sure that you are going to move to CO, my suggestion would be that you
write as a Colorado exam candidate rather than for AL, it will save you a bit
of time and money that way. Note that you can physically sit for the exam
as a CO exam candidate anywhere that Prometric offers exam sites, even
those in AL.
