My current license runs out at the end of this year. I am strongly
considering renewing in an Inactive status. I work as an accountant for
a private company and enjoy it so I don't have any plans to seek other
employment. Give my age (32), I'll likely never work in public, which is
fine with me. I've completed no CPE in the past 3 years other than the
ethics course to get my initial license. Any thoughts/opinions? If I
needed to be active again, my understanding is that I would just need
to complete the required CPE over a 3-year period before I renew
again.
