If you would like to become a licensed CPA, most U.S.
states require 150 credit hours of education (equivalent
of bachelor's degree (120) + one-year master's degree
(30)). There are exceptions to the rule, such as New
Hampshire, that would allow you to become a CPA with just
bachelor's degree (NH is actually loved by international
candidates).
Another question is whether or not the State Board of
Accountancy will grant you exemptions from CPA exam if
you are a fully qualified CCA. I do not believe that
AICPA has a mutual-recognition agreement with ACCA, but I
have heard that some fully qualified members of ICAEW
(i.e. Chartered Accountants) got exemptions from (3/4)
sections of the CPA exam (REG was the only one that they
had to take). So, if you get lucky, you might even get
exemptions from the CPA exam.
I would recommend going to the Pennsylvania State Board
of Accountancy website
(http://www.dos.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/st
ate_board_of_accounting/12502) to carefully research the
requirements for CPA licensure.
