How much time approximately should I devote for REG without having ANY of the experience in taxes? Am I ok with 2 month studying while having FT job?

i'm using becker and just started a new job.

I find I'm having a hard time studying when I come home. I'm drained.... I used to be self employed, but now I'm back at a 9-5 cubicle and have been institutionalized.

I would ideally like to write REG at the end of May. Currently on R2 questions.

any advice on how to approach this? I really turn into a zombie after 1hr of studying after work.

I will still go to work during the week of an exam, but take one day off to pack and travel before the exam date.  Apart from that, I will stay away from this forum from now on until after my test because I am already a zombie overloaded with too much information.

The way I see it is if you really want it you've just got to suck it up and do it.  I work 7:30 - 4:30 every day and then would go home and study until midnight or later most nights.  When taking FAR, I was literally getting up at 5 am to study before work as well.  I also studied for at least 10 hrs on weekends.  Some people can get by with minimal studying, but most (like myself) cannot.
