It's a bit tough to answer your question as everyone's situation is different.
If I would have been you, I would go for BEC first as after FAR, you want little over whelming material to study plus it has no sims.... And, some topics you would have read about in FAR.
REG is tax laws... It took me 20-25 days to be comfortable with the material and correlate with U.S. tax laws. It needs some time and practice more than that required in BEC.
IMO, you can go for BEC in Oct 1st week ( I gave 5 weeks effectively to BEC) and then REG in Jan. You would be required to update your 2009 REG materials with 2010 changes which would be testable. here is the link:
