There is a question in the 2010 edition (CPA-01953) which states in the answer that the casualty loss in this example is reduced by $100 per casualty.  However, in the corresponding textbook (page R2-27) it states that the floor is $500 for 2009.  Where is the $100 per casualty coming from?

Looks like they haven't made changes in the passmaster. $100 deduction relates to 2008. It is $500 for 2009.

Thank you.  I appreciate your response. This will be the third issue I've found with passmaster not being changed.  I guess this is the down side of taking Regulation during the first part of the year using new software, since deductibles can change from year-to-year.  This has not been a good experience for me so far.

Yeah quite a few issues reported. I am using 2009 edition, so i am just assuming the correct answers & moving on. You must write to Becker about this issue. See what they got to tell you... Ask for an updated passmaster. You never know, they may send it.. lol
