What's your plan for your final days of preparation for REG?  Share your details and make it happen!!!

Please don't post stuff like "I'm taking XYZ cram course..." let's save that for the CPA Review Courses section...instead share your deepest, darkest and most detailed plans for conquering REG!

Study Study!

I've got 3 days for the test.

I got off from work at 6, and I have about 5-6 hours to study for a day.
(from 7 pm to 1 am)

I mostly concentrate on 'heavily tested sections' such as corporation(C&S), partnership, and professional responsibility. I'm just scanning other sections for about an hour before I went to sleep.

I can't wait till I sit on a sofa with a bottle of beer(not with a tax book) after work.

Of course, I will pass.

Good luck !

My exam is 2 weeks from tomorrow...

I failed REG in November w/ a 71 so I am pretty much in a review mode at this point.

Right now I am going over Chapter 3 in Becker. I am spending 2 days per chapter and the final few days I will review the stuff I feel that needs it.

First day I am working all of the homework problems until I get them right including the sims. If I don't understand the problem, I am looking it up in the book or watching the lecture on it. So far I feel that I am retaining a lot.

Then for the 2nd day for each chapter I am reading the book and going through the flashcards. While I work the multiple choice questions, I write down concepts that I need to follow up with the next day.

I am trying to spend at least 4 hrs per week day and 6 hrs on Saturday and Sunday. I am starting to work overtime at my firm so we will see how my wishful thinking goes...

Hope this helps! Good luck to everyone.

I failed REG a year ago with a 68.  I'm taking it in a few days.  I should pass easily this time, but if I dont my FARE will expire.  Last year when I got a 68 I cut a lot of corners, rushed everything, didnt practice any SIMs, etc.  I've done all Becker MCs and all Becker supplementals a couple times.  I'm doing a bunch of progress tests in Becker.  Then I'm going to redo the SIMs in Becker for chs1-4 perfectly.  Then I'm gonna try doing a final exam and fill in the gaps with the chapters I seem to be getting stuff wrong on.
