and the case simulations were pretty ridiculous!! MCQ were
pretty manageable. But no matter how much I studied, when I
was reading the case simulations I asked myself, "how could
ANYBODY know this or figure this out??!!"
This was my second time taking it, and I definitely feel
more confident this time around. If I fail, at least I'll
know what I need to study more of.

I have been working on the tax forms for a few days. the AMT form and 4797 are still hard to understand. should I stop wasting the precious time and focus on the basic concepts? Thanks.

My advice is to understand basic concepts, I guess. If you
understand basic concepts WELL enough, you might be okay
with a little luck in the questions you get.
I studied so much, however, I was still given problems I
just didn't know.
