I found that research questions in the simulation are very difficult. Some topics take me long time to search but still no correct answer.  Does any body know how many points it worth in the real exam and any tips?

Thank yo so much!

The simulation (6 tabs/problems) is worth 40% of the overall grade. You must do well on the simulations in order to pass the exam. One of the six tabs is purely research; you will be given a question and you will have to find the applicable guidance that answers the question in the IRC.

The other five of the six simulations are problems that require calculations; sometimes you will complete forms based on information provided to you. You will not be able to show your work because you will either have to enter a number in a cell that you calculated on the scratch piece of paper, or you will choose from a list of options.

Unfortunately, sims are hit-and-miss; so it is best to be well-versed in all of the taxation areas (rarely a sim on B-Law, Treasury Circular 230, or SEC) so that you can tackle anything they throw at you.

Thank you very much for the help.  Could you tell me your exam result after you receive your score this time?

I believe you will pass. Don't worry too much.

I just did the Becker final exam 1 and I got only 56.  It's terrible and scary.  I only have one more month left.  I'm wondering if you have done those final exams and what were the scores.

Thank you so much!
