Those of you using Becker, how much memorizing are you doing?  I know the quick answer to that is "A LOT".  

I mean, are you just memorizing the mnumonics that Tim Gearty is presenting or do you also memorize things he doesn't emphasize?  Keep in mind he goes over plenty of things that are listed out, but he doesn't make mnumonics for everything.

What is your strategy?  Thanks.

Mnumonics are used to make things easier to memorize.  A mnumonic can't be made for everything though, some items just stand by themselves.  Just because a mnumonic is made for some items doesn't mean they are more important, it's just that it was conveniant to do so.  The truth is, you should know the chapters well.  You don't have to memorize everything word for word but you need to be able to understand the concepts to be able to pick the best answer.  I didn't do much "memorizing", as in repeating things over and over in my head.  I learned the concepts by doing the examples and tests and they end up "sticking." Doing the practice tests and homework questions is the best judge at how you are doing studying.
