If you have not taken an auditing class in many years and have not worked in Auditing, is it possible to learn AUD in 8 weeks (20-25 hours per week) while working 40 hr/week job (no family)?  Thanks for your input.

Don't think its possible to "learn" by studying for the CPA exam.

Sure, you may come across things you did not know before, but the prime objective is just get enough of an understanding to score a 75.

I studied over four weeks, without working full time. So if you can find 20 hours a week, that's about 160 hours...more than enough time to get through all the material. Now having said that, I'm not sure how I did on the exam lol, but you should be able to get through all the material and have sufficient time to review and practice lot of mcq. Oh, and I took Auditing and Advanced Auditing in college, but like 15 years ago, so not exactly fresh in my memory bank. Good luck to you :)

Sure it is doable! I had no experience in Aud and finished college about 17 years ago. I was able to pull it through. If I can , that means you can do it too. At least try to go couple times over the MCQ, and mark the weak ones so yu can focus on them., When you finsih 2, go back and do 1 and 2, when you finsih 3, go back and do 1,2,and 3, when you ffinsh 4 do the same, by the time you finish, you will have a good grasp of the material. Good Luck!
