I haven't spent much time on this but realize that I should. I am taking the test on Monday. For the essays, is there a particular format that I should use? I remember hearing that there will be spell-check, so I intend to use proper grammar. Also, how strictly do they monitor the content? If they ask for a specific detail I am not sure how accurately I can get it, I feel that it is slightly easier to answer a multiple choice in which one of the four options is the answer than to have them all in my mind. Thanks.

When I took FAR, I came up with a generic outline for
answering the written questions that I could just modify
for whatever they asked. For me, the hardest part of the
writing sections is always how to start it, so I wanted
to make sure I didn't even really have to think about
that.    I just used a basic 3-4 paragraph memo format.
First paragraph is a short intro/thesis. 1-2 paragraphs
after that with all of your information, and then a short
closing paragraph.

The example answers they give in some of the study books
are pretty long and very specific. I don't think you are
expected to do anything that extensive, though. I kept
it short and sweet, and it worked out well for me.

I don't think the questions get too specific, just try to
stay on topic.

I took my exam yesterday... My written Communication was fine. It's just I was left with 30min to write all 3 of them. My topics were something I have studied in BEC along with some common sense.
