I think it depends on the the individual (are you a fast thinker/writer?).  Anywhere between 50 minutes to 1.15 hr max.  I had a lot of calcuations in my exam so I only had one hour left for the WCs.  I was able to finish all three (one I had to BS because I've never seen the topic before).

I would go with atleast 60 minutes for written part.  You want to have enough time to sketch a good outline, reread your final product for grammar errors and make sure you communicated your intended points.  This is an easy point buffer if you take the time to form coherant thoughts and double / triple check your structure.

I just took the BEC this morning and ended with 3 minutes left, but I had an hour for the WC and used a lot of time to proof them.

I have same story with AKBenny, i took BEC before a week, left with 60 mins for WC and finished exam with only 2 mins left. Even if u are not sure of the answer...........just pretend that u know it by using creative words.....

I left an hour and a half. Left 20 minutes early. If I
had to do it over, I would have spent more time on the MCQ,
but whatever.
