Let me just say how frustrating that is! I was considered weak in the written, but I was comparable in the written when I took the BEC in May! The appeal process is ridiculous and I understand why they have such hard standards, but really a 74. This really took the steam out of my desire to move forward with the CPA exam!

Thanks randomCPA. I am studying for the FAR section right now with a test date of Nov 3rd. I will re-take the BEC after that. It is just so frustrating to be that close....

I agree. Stick with it. I took BEC my first time and got a 73 so I feel your disappointment, but you're really close. Just another review will be more of a refresher the second time & hopefully you'll break through that precious 75 mark!

God help you guys, I know it is bad feeling,

I've friends struggling with BEC, it looks like it became harder, not frustrating you, but focus and do all you can to pass this BEC.

I passed it 2010, I remember it included tricky questions.
