I just started with FAR using Becker 2009. I noticed there is a lot of supplemental homework reading in the book. Is this stuff tested at all or is it mainly a waste of time?
In my experience on the other three sections, only the AUD ratio appendix was something that was relevant in the exam (but was tested very heavily). Any feedback from recent FAR exam takers?

I wouldn't say any of the stuff in the supplemental sections for FAR is HEAVILY tested...at least it wasn't on my exam. I would briefly read through the sections once, just to be familiar. I don't think you need to spend too much time on it though.

i wouldn't agree, i think they can test you anything, i guess you need to do a little hard work and read everything.

If you are pressed for time then just skim the homework readings. You never know what will be tested though and a few extra points from the HW reading could be the difference between passing and failing.
