I am planning to take the exam in mid-May - about 2 months from now.  It's been a while since I graduated - using Yaeger DVD's primryly w/Wiley book and have Becker as a reference.  What is the best study approach to know/memorize all of the material for FAR?  Thanks.

Writing down everything the lecturer says is a good suggestion.  Although I am not using Yeager; however, am using the Bisk Intensive and Hot Spot videos and I find that when I write back what the lecturer says, I retain the information.  Plus the notes can be used for a quick review during the last few days of studying.

A portable DVD player works well as it allows you to pause, write, pause, write.... you get it.

How do you recomend to study for FAR for a second try?

I am wating for my scores but I am smart enough to know I did badly. for next time: already notes have been written, flash cards have been done, mcq's have been worked... what's left to try?

Not that I am pesimist but while waiting scores I want to work out "Plan B"  :)

Some have sworn that making their own flashcards, ESPECIALLY with FAR, makes all the difference in the world. Even those with illegible handwriting.

Thank you all for your feedback.  How many hours would you devote to the study plan and what sequence of activities would you suggest?  I basically see 4 tasks with they study plan:  viewing lectures, doing the mchoice homework, doing the simulations, and finally revision.  I would like to take it in Mid-May if possible and I am able to commit about 3 hours/day Monday thru Friday and about 8 to 10 hours on the weekend per day....so somewhere between 30 and 35 per week.
