All,
I was hoping from some insight from individual who recently took the FAR exam. I actually just started studying this week and wanted to get some feedback in terms of when should I apporximately schedule my exam, any study tips, etc. I was thinking taking the exam the first week of May or so but I am worried that I might not be allowing myself adequate time.

do as many mcq's as you can over and over and over and over that's 70% of the exam.
Take as many sim test as possible and understand your answers right or wrongs. If you score high 60's on mcq's (I used Becker) you may be ready to sit for the exam.... I scored 40's on all my tests and got 70 on the real exam.

My advice for studying is to choose one study source (for me this was the Kaplan study guide) and study 2 - 2.5 hours per day. I do this for 6 - 8 weeks before each exam and find the exams to be easy. About a week before the exam you can increase the study time as needed, but don't burn out before taking the exam.
