Sorry I don't have any advice.  I'm in the same boat.  However, I'd say try to keep your chin up.  Thats what I'm doing.  We are so CLOSE in FAR that I think I'd try to get FAR back in as quickly as you can.

VVS -- I'd go into each exam by knowing that you've done a few things:

1) Reviewed each part of the material thoroughly and in a way where you understand the concepts behind the material (i.e. not just memorizing answers to MCQs)
2) Take notes -- preferably hand-written notes -- so you can iron out the kinks in your knowledge of the concepts. I have found that just writing things on a notepad helps me because it challenges me to show myself that I really do know the material. Plus, it's one of the things you get in the test center, so when you are testing and you've done a lot of note-taking, you have had a lot of practice already.
3) Do whatever it takes to have confidence in your abilities. There's definitely nothing wrong with you, but there are probably ways to modify your approach. Come up with a comprehensive plan, self-evaluate, do whatever it takes to build yourself up. I know from having failed parts of the exam many times that having confidence in knowing you are well-prepared is every bit as important as knowing the material. For me, the difference has been coming up with a plan to study and working with a work-life balance coach my employer has set up and holding myself accountable to her that I will follow through with my study plans.

It's okay to be down about failing, but don't let that hold you back from trying again!

I also got a 68 on my first try at FAR.  I made every mistake in the book, and some mistakes that were not in the book!

I recently read "You can Pass the CPA Exam" by Debra R. Hopkins.  I suggest that you buy the book.  The book is a good summary of all the mistakes that I made.  I wish that I had this book a year ago.  I could have avoided a lot of grief.

I am back studying for FAR again and this time I will pass.  I am using Yaeger first as my teaching course.  I am also taking some awesome notes.  After I finish Yaeger I will switch to Becker for a fast review course (two chapters per week).  I am giving FAR the double whammy!

I also passed REG on the first try.  However, I am not afraid to have to take REG again since I have some great notes.
